Good food and so close to the lake. They have a great selection of ice creams and coffee. Anyone can enjoy.

We had breakfast and lunch. It was very tasty and they did a good job trying to stay compliant with the new regulations. Lots of food for a great price.

Quaint diner with good food for a reasonable price. Appropriate music playing in the background especially when you bring kids. The only negative thing I can say is that the waitress didn't know the menu real well and couldn't answer questions. I would encourage some training in this regard.

Wonderful Breakfast place, GOOD FOOD, Local feel with owners as staff who care and are friendly. Clean, and nice feel. GLUTEN FREE PANCAKE IS DELICIOUS.

We only got the ice cream here, but the price was fantastic and the ice cream was delicious. I recommend the waffle cone with huckleberry heaven and chocolate. You get a LOT of ice cream for a good price. The helper, don’t remember her name, but was very helpful and cheerful even though she was bombarded with two large groups all at once.

Best pancakes I've had in a very long time! The owner was great to interact with and he had our food out quickly especially since he was alone and there were 3 of us. It's nice to be able to support a local business.

I really hate to do this but I've been to this diner twice, two months apart and had subpar service both times. We tried the first time for lunch and there were only a few tables of four ahead of us and it took 40 minutes to get a couple sandwiches, but the were at least pretty good. The second time, we took some out of town friends there for breakfast and there was only one table that had ordered ahead of us and it took an hour to get our food! The other table got their food after we ordered, ate, and left before ours came out. It seemed like there were only 4 people working the entire restaurant on a Sunday morning. When we finally got our food, it was cold! There were four of us but we got really basic meals that shouldn't have taken nearly that long. I hope they can get it together because I think they do have good food and a great location, but unfortunately I won't be going back.

We dropped in for ice cream while we were shopping. Good selection very helpful staff. Masks are required and they're practicing social distancing. I was thanked by the server for wearing my mask, I liked her thoughtfulness.😊

When you walk in there's two separate lines, there's one for the coffee and one for the ice cream. We stood in front of the ice cream line for 10 minutes and no one came to help us. I had to ask the teenager behind the counter if they could help us with the ice cream while they help everybody else get coffees because there was no one in the ice cream section helping. He said sure we'll be there in a minute. We continued to wait for another 10 minutes before he finally decided to send one of the other two people behind the counter with him to come and help us. I would not recommend coming here if you want ice cream.

Honestly, the only thing holding this place back is a lack of parking. My kids love the etch-a-Sketch’s and chess boards. The food was as good or much better than anyplace else we have been in McCall. The owner and the the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The portions are great, not too big and not too small (likeGoldielocks once said”just right”). This has become our preferred breakfast eatery.

My daughter and I were craving ice cream. We found Payette Dream, and according to online they were open. But they were actually closed. They still served us, my daughter had Rainbow Sherbet, I had Lemon Sorbet. Really yummy, hit the spot. The young lady was really nice and sweet. Thank you!

The folks who work here are super friendly and take great care of you. Located on the corner by the lake. Super cool place.

Food is good.. but no matter when you come it will be slow. Expect 45 min to an hour. I understand they are learning, however they might want to bring a consultant here to help them. What I see is staff on there phones, giving hugs to friends who walk by. Take the products to the table so you dont have to walk back and forth. They are trying, but unless you get your ppl trained...

This place has good ice cream, and okay staff. It was a very hot day, and no ac. It was very hot in there. If it worked it wasn't working right. I feel bad for the staff.

I'm just not a fan of the excessive religious overtones.

I don’t know what happened here but I cannot give this establishment more than 1 Star. Group of 5 of us waiting over an hour to get food. We were told “5 more minutes” after it had already been an hour and after 10 minutes went by we all just walked out. Absolutely ridiculous to wait over an hour and not even get food! Trying to head out of town to get home (7hrs away) and wasted an hour here just sitting around...we saw a gal walk in with flats of eggs and grocery bags. If they ran out of food or were having issues TELL US SO WE CAN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Food is spectacular! Parking is an issue, especially for those with disabilities as there is only a single marked space on the road, that is a city thing though. Friendly atmosphere, great food and service for an appropriate price.

Great place, both times I've been here its been a wonderful service and awesome food.

We went on the first day of the diner section was open. It was not busy and I hope they do well. My son and I got some really great burgers and some fries that I can only describe as curly steak fries. The burger was cooked medium and so it still was juicy and had great flavor. The hostess was very friendly and our server also was too.

Large servings of ice cream. They have coffee and some simple breakfast and lunch items My wife and I have visited 4 times here we have not had lunch or the breakfast yet.

Our experience here was fantastic! Coming to visit McCall as tourists, the staff here, especially our waiter made us feel like family. The food had that “momma made-it” kinda feeling to it. This place is a MUST if you’re coming into town.

The coffee was average but the young barista was not friendly and seemed annoyed I was making a purchase at this establishment. However, my girls loved their birthday cake ice cream and huckleberry milkshake. The aesthetic was rough and seats on the booths were duct taped together.

McCall is becoming a mini lake Tahoe minus the casinos - I stopped here and had a burger on 06/02/2020 - was a brown flavorless patty - and fries - lets just say - I won't dine here again - waitress was awesome - friendly and attentive - no complaints there - but the menu was - well......basic bar food - minus the bar!

Great coffee and ice cream.. I enjoyed every minute of my visit, except when I am hearing the cashier yell and humiliate the other worker. Poor girl trying to help a customer only to have the other worker from the other side of store confused her. Not exceptional at all..

The worst service we have ever had! It started off bad when it took a really long time to be greeted by our server. We finally ordered and our order didn't arrive for an HOUR. One of our meals only came with half the food and when I asked why we didn't get a full order of food the server said 'oops' and never brought out the rest of the meal... even when I asked if I could just take it to-go, the server still did nothing. I also ordered an omelette to-go for my mom and when I got that order, it was missing the hashbrowns and toast. I asked the server why I didn't get the full meal AGAIN and he said that when you order breakfast to-go they wont serve it with hashbrowns and toast (seriously). We didn't receive a water or coffee refill the whole meal. I used to be a server so I know that these simple things a server can do to make your meal enjoyable are NOT THAT DIFFICULT! This restaurant should invest more time in hiring and training better staff!

Wait staff was very friendly, wait for food was excruciating long, well over an hour despite only having a few tables of customers. The portions were average size and food was bland and cold. Would not choose this place again unfortunately.

Extremely slow service, was not crowded, cold hash browns, had to ask for coffee refills.

I like the new setup, connected to the diner with an arcade in back. Listened to an employee crying about her job the whole time I was there, which wasn't fun. But, delicious ice cream and a great americano drink. Ice cream scoops are big, definitely got our money's worth!

I ordered a cheeseburger and steak fries with an ice tea, asked for lemon they were out which is fine. When I got my food my cheeseburger was cold and red, the fries are not steak fries! I ate a few fries and than pushed my plate to the end of the table the waitress asked if she could take it( didn’t ask if anything was wrong since only a few bites were missing and a bite of cheeseburger which I had spit out was on the plate) didn’t care to fix it or make it right. Not impressed!! Horrible customer service and I would have got a better cheaper meal at MCD’s!

For $8.99 your buscuits and gravy should have a side with it like an egg or a couple sausage, and it should taste good. It looked and taste like package gravy from the store. Looked like you crumbled some sausage over the biscuits and poured the gravy over it. I can do better going to the Shell station with $6.00 in my pocket. Biscuits and gravy should be one of the cheapest things on the menu, so if you charge that much you got to do better.

Icecreame was amazing, size was enormous. Bit pricy, but nonetheless amazing! Would buy again!
